Aspects Literature Festival 2009
Aspects, the premier Irish Literature Festival in Northern Ireland, attracts readers and writers from all over Ireland to the North Down Museum in Bangor. The increasingly popular event features the cream of Irish writing talent and promises to deliver an exhilarating programme. Over the years the festival has attracted all the big names, from Seamus Heaney to Jack Higgins, inspiring lively debate and erudite literary chats. There are also plenty of workshops for budding authors, the chance to discuss writing with the star guests and lots of readings. The festival has came of age and is now in its 18th year-we hope to celebrate this with a varied programme of writers to suit all tastes and interests. We look forward to bringing you the eclectic mix of prose and poetry which the festival has became renowned for over the years. We also would like to welcome you to this year’s festival club Vin Café where we will be putting on a series of late night fringe music and readings so hopefully see you there to chill out with some wine and tapas. See you at the festival!
