Recycling Centre : Summer Opening Hours

Balloo Recycling Centre and Holywood Civic Amenity Site: Summer Opening Hours

Both Council Recycling Centres are CLOSED on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 July 2010.

From Thursday 1 April 2010, Summer opening hours will operate at the Council's Recycling Centres at Balloo Avenue, Bangor and Sullivan Place, Holywood. 

Summer opening hours are as follows:  
Monday - Friday 8am-8pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am-6pm

Facilities for recycling at both sites include: glass bottles and jars, drinks cans, newspapers and magazines, textiles, plastic bottles, garden waste, books, waste engine oil, scrap metal, small and large electrical items and fluorescent tubes, drinks cartons and much more.

Recycling of wood and rubble is available at the Balloo Avenue facility only.
