Since opening as part of Phase 3 of the centre in June 1989, the restaurant has been a very popular rendezvous. Small exhibitions can be staged here but its main extra purpose is as a splendid venue for evening concerts, literary readings etc! Now each autumn the Heritage Centre hosts “Aspects” - a festival of the best Irish writing.
