Ian Henry is in his 17th year on North Down Borough Council.
Ian has been a member of the Ulster Unionist party for 22 years, he is past-chair of its North Down Association and his party’s local branch. He is a member of the Ulster Unionist Council. Ian is Chairman of the Community Safety Partnership and the Disability Working Group.
Ian's interests include environment planning, sport and disability rights. His love of sports is especially evident as Founder Member and Vice Chairman of North Down Sports Advisory Council.
Ian is a member of the Loyal Orders and Ballyholme Presbyterian Churches.
